What a great way to spend a summer day!

By Peggy Olin, President ECHO – East County Historical Organization

Walking in the gardens at both of our Museums. Just because our Museums are closed for tours on the inside, our gardens are always open for you to enjoy on the outside.

Check out all of our wonderful pollinator plants to help out our birds, bees, and butterflies, lavender, herbs, bee balm, milkweed just to name a few. Check out the grape arbor, the wisteria is in full bloom across the porch, look at all the beautiful hostas.

As we are keepers of our history, we all want to keep our distance to stay healthy and happy, we are not sure just when we will be opening for tours at this time, please check our website for dates and times for opening our doors and upcoming events.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us restore and preserve our museums; if you have any interest please let us know.

Thank you!”
