We are Reopening!
Come and Join us Tour Day: June 19, 2021 from noon to 4:00 pm at the 1893 Heslin House Museum and City of Fairview Jail, for the East County Historical Organization Annual Meeting and Open House with light refreshments served outside in the gardens.
We have some new exhibits to share with you, more artifacts from surrounding area families and more old pictures of The City of Fairview.
We have started a big and exciting project at the 1874 Zimmerman Heritage Farm Museum
“Bringing the Zimmerman House Back to its Glory”
The front porch is getting a new makeover. In August the house will be stripped of the paint that had been collected over the years. After that is done the house will be painted white. Green shutters will be repaired or replaced. All of this should be done by the middle of September. The house will stay closed to visitors till SEPTEMBER 18, 2021 – TOUR DAY. Mark your calendar and save the date! It’s going to be a very SPECIAL DAY; come and CELEBRATE with us.
