ECHO, an East County Historical Organization, will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, April 29th at 2pm.
There will be a brief business meeting, which will include Board member elections. Our guest speaker will be Sharon Nesbit – author, columnist, historian, and a charter member of ECHO.
Come hear Sharon discuss her visits with Isobel Zimmerman, which led to the listing of the house on the National Register of Historic Places and its donation to ECHO. For all you animal lovers, you won’t want to miss the story of Moon, Isobel’s dog, and how a historical organization got a house with a dog attached. There will be some rarely seen photographs, including those of Isobel’s last dog.
ECHO was formed in 1987 and is home to both the Heslin and Zimmerman House museums.
The meeting will be at the Quail Hollow Clubhouse at 21100 NE Sandy Blvd, Fairview, OR and light refreshments will be served. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 503-618-0946.
