ECHO Seeks New Leaders

Are you, or someone you know, looking for leadership opportunities?

If so, ECHO is seeking new Board Members from across the Metro area starting in May 2017.

Our Board is a working group that is focused on preserving local history and heritage sites. They support ECHO with active visioning, governing, and advising.

A little about us, our historical society was founded in 1987 and we serve the Fairview, Rockwood, and Wilkes areas of East Multnomah County. We are also caretakers for the historic Heslin and Zimmerman House Museums, plus the Fairview City Jail.

We are seeking individuals with varied skills and backgrounds that include, but are not limited to:

  • Architecture
  • Archiving/Research
  • Construction/Maintenance
  • Farming
  • Finance
  • History
  • Legal
  • Project Management
  • Public Policy/Planning
  • Writing
