Membership and Volunteer Services Intern
Summer 2016 – High School/Undergraduate Marketing Assistant

ECHO is seeking a Membership and Volunteer Services Intern. Through this unpaid internship, successful candidates will gain solid, real-life work experience, and become actively involved in many levels of membership and volunteer management. Most importantly, they will build a solid foundation on which to launch a successful career or expand their social enterprise skills and knowledge.

Time Commitment & Benefits:
  • 8-16 hours per week for 3 months with room for expansion
  • Earn high school/college course credit and receive $500 in tuition assistance

Museum Collections and Exhibitions Intern
Summer 2016 – Undergraduate/Graduate Inventory Assistant

ECHO is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to work on a comprehensive inventory of ECHO collections that offers a broad hands-on experience with object handling and preservation, inventory, and digitizing collections. Those interested in 19th century historic homes and their artifacts are encouraged to apply.

Time Commitment & Benefits:
  • 10-12 hours per week for 3 months with room for expansion

Museum Collections and Exhibitions Intern
Summer 2016 – Graduate Curatorial Lead

ECHO has a unique opportunity for a graduate-level museum collections intern. Many small museums across the country are volunteer-lead, and don’t always have an established curatorial program. If you are interested in developing or expanding your curatorial administrative experience and volunteer management skills, we are seeking you.

Successful candidates will bring their up-to-date collections practices and put them to use building a solid, real-world collections plan for one or both of our historical homes. Those seeking experience with a broad range of artifacts, art works, furniture, textiles, and more from the 19th century forward are encouraged to apply.
